At Archstone Consulting, we believe that our focus on community service sets us apart from other firms and is symbolic of who we are as a company. While delivering value to our clients is a top priority, we place a high value on our employees' dedication to giving back to the community. Our approach to community service activities is similar to our client approach: we aim to deliver positive results in a collaborative manner. Part of every employee's performance evaluation includes measurement of involvement in community service activities.
These community service events occur throughout the year, with activities ranging from fund drives to working with non-profits that fulfill important social needs. To coordinate these events, each regional office has a Community Service Lead who identifies local organizations with which to partner and manages event logistics. Some past activities include volunteering at soup kitchens, packaging food at local food banks, revitalizing inner-city schools and organizing company-wide toy drives during the holiday season. These events are always highly attended and valued by our employees.
Engaging with and improving the local community gives our employees the opportunity to bond outside the office and build lasting, trusting relationships with one another, ultimately influencing the way we work together on projects.
