Archstone Consulting provides a holistic set of services to help our clients drive maximum value from their sourcing, procurement, and supply management functions. We utilize a comprehensive approach to transforming sourcing and procurement, redesigning the strategies, processes, organization, and supporting technologies needed to create a world-class Sourcing and Procurement organization. Traditional strategic sourcing programs have been replaced with rapid sourcing and cost reduction efforts, where category experience and supply market knowledge are key to realizing speed in benefits. We offer strategic sourcing programs that are based on in-depth category experience and reusable sourcing templates, supported by e-sourcing tools and techniques, where applicable. We also work closely with our corporate parent, the Hackett Group, to provide benchmarking services and results and to access best practice processes and tools.

How We Work

The Archstone Consulting team consists of experienced consultants who are able to work closely with our clients' procurement and sourcing management teams to achieve tangible results. Our consultants have significant procurement and sourcing expertise, and are able to work independently and seamlessly within the procurement group and across the organization to enable change. Our consultants are able to leverage Archstone Consulting's and The Hackett Group's resources for needed best practices, benchmarks, templates, and other value-added enablers.

Industry Sub-Segments

Archstone Consulting's Sourcing and Procurement consultants work across all industries and support industry-specific categories, as appropriate. Working with our colleagues with specific industry knowledge, we are able to help our clients source categories they deem critical and/or strategic. Some examples include direct materials specific to an industry, such as API's for pharmaceuticals, packaging materials for food companies, and commodity chemicals for specialty chemical suppliers. We also help our clients source services and other indirect categories that are unique to their industry, such as contract manufacturing, contract research (CRO), marketing services, and Lab Equipment and Supplies.
